In all of these positions the palm faces horizontally upwards.
For all horizontal positions, keep your palm facing upwards and your fingers pointing either out to the sides (1 and 3) or inwards (2 and 4). 
Reach the elbow away from the ribcage and make your fingers feel long. 
For all positions, including the vertical ones, make your neck feel long and lift your front, back and side ribs away from your pelvis.
